LTCM had the egg heads of the egg heads
Great idea they had with just one flaw . It relied on 1 in 100 year events to NOT get pie in the face. Take a look at any blow ups, they are all the same its just the 1 in 100 is more like less than 1 in 10
Best bit is they got really greedy and wanted all the gains so kicked out the investors and piled all their own cash in so when it went Nuclear they got a full does
Best bit is some of them went on to blow up 2 more times in other 1 in 100 events and now back to being teaching egg heads
Today the generic name for a Nuclear even waiting to happen is called Capitol
