Indeed. I only ever report comments if someone's already had mine moderated, which is rare and always because I was responding in kind... i.e 'self-defence'
I usually prefer to let the evidence remain; most people realise that someone who posts online like that all the time, as if they're trying to start something... in real life is probably a cowardly little man.
