dude it's all about trying to time the big cycles in the market.. If you don;t at least try to do that the game is up.. there are too many unbalanced and unfair disadvantages on the markets as a small retail investor.. It's stacked against us... And holding some cash (at various times) allows you to do that.. time the markets.. So when the wildebeest are selling out of their managed funds you are "a buying..." That is why it is not a "risky" asset dude.. Anyway Each to their own.. NA Cheers
