its a interesting and important question. I guess that the one defining factor would be Hamish Douglas and his team. Like years gone by with Kerr Nelson I guess funds gravitate to great leaders. So to answer your question, I'd say its the leadership.
it comes down to the scenario of a market panic or bear market, I'd say Megellan will perform well. Plus looking forward 5+ years their holdings in barrenjoe guzman ect will add equity and puts runs on the board, maybe we could say it's a mini Macquarie?
