problem is a lot of people don’t realise that Buffett doesn’t operate a “funds management” business. Also, Buffett has had several long periods where he massively underperformed the market. He just didn’t give a damn because he didn’t have to worry about losers that wanted their money back the moment they underperformed the index.
I’m not saying Douglass is like Buffett as an investor, just that the comparison overall is silly.
