That is the advantage MFG portfolio has over indexes. MSFT, Google, FB are value and growth stocks. Next 10 to 15 years with low growth levels and economies fixing there debt levels, value will definitely outpace. As far as US vs rest of the world are concerned there is no comparison. US economy has enormous issues, but they are still in better place than others. None of them have the technology advantage US has in all spheres of economy..Finding solutions to Covid just illustrate this point. Ok this problem is not sorted out yet, but vaccines, drugs innovations are coming from there. As far as debt is concerned, total debt to GDP is very bad world over, may be except Germany. Chinese total debt as % of debt is one of highest. Among all these debt issues, consumer debt in USA is one of the lowest it has been for decades. This also should help US consumer companies, which are plenty in MFG portfolio.
