Magellan is a redundant service whose value is distorted by misleading marketing.
More and more investors, and advisers, are waking up to the fact - generally after reading abysmal performance reports - and asking themselves: "Why am I paying an underperforming manager 2% fees when I can pay 5 bps for an ETF that does better?"
