Brokers are notorious for being on the wrong side of every trend 80% of the time.
If they downgrade, they are usually limiting their embarrassment from a previously issued upgrade.
I am a happy accumulator today. Using the Californian gold rush as my cue, $18.49 was my accumulation price.
Day to day fluctuation in the price of stocks held by underlying long term investment funds seems to me to be the tail wagging the dog. I accept I could be wrong, but I would prefer to see the back of an animal running away, than the front of it chasing my bum.
