Platinum have defended better during January and have a better long term track record.
Magellan are a one trick pony (an expensive way to gain exposure to quality factor investing) and Hamish is no Buffett.
The market will figure this out eventually and their outflows will continue for years unless they significantly cut the fees on their existing book of FUM.
Buyers beware.
