How long has this "long term 9% p.a performance" been marketed to investors for those involved with Magellan over the years. Its appearing in every new announcement, was this always communicated, say during pre 'Hamish is our aussie Buffet'.
To me it sounds like an crutch to lean on, happy to be wrong.
