I really like your concept of slow injections. I’m buying on big low days, selling a bundle on the higher days and then repeating, from an initial entry of $40 I’ve already cut that down to avg buy of $35 without actually incurring a loss. The chart isn’t pretty and it’s hard to say if it’ll have a V recovery or a long U.
I disagree about XAO in overvalue territory though. AUS is a rapid growth country due to immigration. It’s poised to have 30-40mil head count over the next 15 years. It’s probably one of the best positioned economies for the next 2 decades, and one that is underpinned by a massive wealth in resources.
I also believe a growing economy with compulsory super & super increases will inevitably lead to a surge in XAO.
Historical valuations models have XAO at fair value, most blue chips offering yields over 4%, some of the best in the world.
Just think how much more shares will be when you have an extra 25% of the population trying to snap em up, whilst also competing against superfunds who will have billions extra every single year to buy up more.
I actually don’t think there is a country more positioned for growth. 7500 on the all ordinaries is cheap, I don’t think it’ll take too long at all for us to be kicking down 15,000 in fact I expect by around 2035 we will be on the cusp of 20,000.
