In addition to what I said in my previous note about the debt laden world economy, there is a major swing in the economies that is taking place right now and for next decade or more. Innovation and research related industries will be key. Decarbonisation, alternative energy sources, medical and health related categories will play a major part for long time to come. When it comes innovation and commercialisation there is only one country in the world and that is USA. Magellan is well invested in USA and hoping Hamish diversify bit into those areas too. Also changes brought about by Covid to people’s life makes FAANG,SAP,MSFT to dominate for years to come and MFG has fair bit invested.
