Great analysis, but on the proviso that the market continues it's current trend then your numbers might be right.
What about on a risk adjusted basis? If the market was to tank (not just a correction) some of the holdings in the alternative peer would get smashed I would think. I mean Russia and Brazil WFT??? No thanks.
Hamish has always been upfront about protecting the downside, in my experience long term investing is about being in the market throughout all cycles but protecting the downside when it turns to $h1t.
