It is a complex discussion and looking at performance for the current month is a cursory view.
I don’t know what the ultimate answer is, but if I was an investor with Magellan I would be asking can I do better elsewhere? There is potential for a second year in a row of lower performance, what is this doing to my money over time, I am losing the compounded return effect that Hamish talks about and encourages his children to learn.
