Then your thesis is there is no confidence for them to at least be on par with the index.
You need to set your thesis with a baseline,
Knowing you are a bull with this stock, i would say that base line is on par or better than the average fund.
Wasting your mental energy answering someone else about a short term comparison of 6-12 months, is a waste of your energy.
