I think it is the market perception of MFG performance of FY21 against the other indexes. Also FInancial statements had two hits of $154 and 41 M one time adjustments . The amounts of these hits were not communicated enough prior to the results. Financial markets are so fickle MFG will have to repair it with few good financial statements starting with HY results in Feb 2022. This is in their bag unless something dramatic happens between now and 21 December 21.
