agree with the reasons why mkt behave the way it has due to massive massive fiscal and monetary stimulus. However last year from the time Covid started until the beginning of this year people had no idea where the pandemic was going to end. In hindsight you could say all the stimulus was going to drag the market up and it did that relatively to MFG funds. Also you need to remember MFG investments strategy is towards holding stock until eternity unless there is something radically wrong like Tencent for example. This is more in line Warren Buffett investment philosophy. So where do we go from here. As I said before from February 21 onwards MFG funds have out performed all the indexes to date. This is becoming more and more clear every day if you keep watching the market and do small excel calculation. In economic terms and stock market terms we are back to normal cycle, unless Covid becomes uncontrollable. In fact high GDP growth is gradually coming down as you can see from any economists forecast. So I think steep stock market increases are basically based on next two to three years growth built in now. I am predicting the MFG will outshine all other indexes over next two to three years and in fact earn some performance fee alone the way. At the moment there is so much noise over last year’s results and I think people are loosing perspective.
