I agree that GQG has emerging markets, don’t believe it is as high as 40% due to large growth in semiconductors since GQG’s IPO, but would be interested to see the numbers. Even if it is that high, I am confident that GQG is nimble enough in that space to avoid a calamity.
I guess you agree too that Magellan should not be invested in emerging markets directly or indirectly.
ps, yes I have noticed the GQG share price. I continue to buy and have a while to go before reaching my maximum holding in my portfolio.
As @Chella says, it will be interesting to see this next months FUM numbers. In USD terms it appears Magellan’s performance has been stagnant and GQG’s has performed roughly the same as the month before 5+% in USD terms. It will be interesting to see converting GQG into AUD the same as Magellan.
