Which ever way you are look at investments after omicron, as long as world doesn’t come to an end, economy is going to be different for long time to come. Attitude towards risk taking will be different. Back of your mind you will always have the question of a new variant popping up, but knowing human race can handle it. But what about risk taking.? Will you invest in emerging markets? Are you prepared to take that kind of a risk? Hamish’s down side risk is in full display now. If everything sort of settle down, will investors consider FUM of MFG as pretty steady with a good % invested in growth areas like FAANG stocks. I am expecting investors will look at much higher PE than MFG is trading now, as long as the omicron is under control.
