Yes, down side protection is evident even on last night carnage. Once the all those government stimulus and central bank infused froth in the market is taken away, it is going to be back to which companies are going to do well in the future. Last night in addition to omicron and Reserve bank governor made a strong indication of removing some of the stimulus at faster pace. Economical parameters are gradually being reset back to normality. This should suit MFG well. End of November FUM still going to be $117B+, improvement of $2 B+. Last night carnage took away about 1.3B away unfortunately. Hopefully this will be wake up call for investors to make choices taking into consideration of risk mitigation too. I am hoping this Omicron variant is not going to cause to much of trouble to mankind. Indications are that symptoms are very mild. I like the theory about Omicron taking over from Delta and becoming like normal flu type of virus quickly.
