These numbers are pretty easy to check yourself. Only difficult one is total MFG total fund, which needs bit more work. The purpose is to show the trend which is changing fast. But I think we should all buy Platinum if you figures can be verified. Do you know the Platinum portfolio, what is the portfolio comprises. Magellan has had 18 months of performance issues and negative publicity, however Platinum has that bad name for ever, if I remember correctly. The world markets have changed dramatically over last 10 days and as I predicted long time ago once the liquidity is taken off , it is really a long game to keep doing well as an organisation, power of the brands will dominate. It is on now, MFG portfolio will benefit on the long run. I hope this is going to bring new funds back, but it will take few years before people accept MFG again.
