For those that doubted the brand and value damange to the financial services side of things is any more confirmation neeed??

SO, (1) MFS has agreed that investigation can proceed with break fees potentially payable.

"Mr Sullivan said any potential purchase would involve nominal up front cash consideration with the remainder of the purchase consideration being deferred and contingent on the retention of investor funds"

AND (2) as close to nothing paid upfront as possible - this being the basis that has been agreed for due diligence AND break fee potential.
