An MFS inside source has confirmed that a $2.5 Billion expression of interest was put forward by an overseas group for the Stella Group prior to the CVC deal.
MFS bumbled in following this up due to a split amongst the senior ranks, whilst some wanted to pursue the opportunity others could not wait to get CVC's hand and ink to paper, we all know what happened next.
MFS Shareholders should rally behind Chris Scott and the proposed EGM to block the Stella sale and further to get rid of its incompetant management.
