MFS announced this.......not CNP
So wondering whether this is the only offer.....I wouldn't think so...
My take on this whole situation is that some large player/s may have cut some sort of deal/proposal with CNP.
I however would be surprised if any hard assets will be sold to the big player .....massive costs/government duties payable etc associated with a buyout as well as funding required.....it would be a pointless exercise given the current climate.
Someone may provide a cash injection to enable repayment of the short term debt and be issued in return with a share issue of sorts.....they may also wish to sack the board and take over management rights totally......this would be most appropriate......
This is just my absolute guess but i personally think im on the right track to some degree.
This is however coming from an optimistic holder...lol
