Yes, I am sure RED would have been well aware of the contents of the letter however as you know until the letter is actually received by the company they are not able to confirm whether the version that has been 'leaked' to the media is the same version as what they will end up receiving. I don't seek to defend the company for a minute, it has been appalling mismanagement, however equally we have to be sure of the facts before going off at a tangent to ASIC or the ASX
