So this morning we see yet another potential buyer emerge, this time Aria Foods out of Denmark. Well known for its Lurpak butter range. So now we have around 5 potential suitors lining up for part or whole of the Australian dairy processor.
I suppose all of us, the dismayed shareholders, are wondering where this is all heading! Will it end in a bidding war that may see our shares regain at least some of our lost value or the complete opposite. It appears that the majority of the farmer co-op unit holders need to agree to the breakup/ sale. I imagine that anything that restores value to the current milk price will be welcome.
What are your thoughts fellow shareholders?
