Maybe, but MGC has been overlooked till recently in the Baby Formula Boom.
People have only just realised that MG is Australia's largest dairy foods company by far [37% of the market]. Already more than half of MG's revenue is from International sales. 77% of those International Sales are into Asia.
They have excellent growth right now in their infant formula and nutritional products and a big new factory for infant formulas and nutritionals is set to commence construction in Victoria in 2016, according to the prospectus. That output when it starts will be way bigger than A2M and Bellamy's infant formula sales volume put together.
MG are not a newcomer to the infant formula scene. They opened an infant formula production facility in Cobram, Victoria in 1997.
Anyway, just who is going to dump it? Personally, I don't like this hockey stick takeoff this month as it has upset my quiet accumulation strategy for long term holding. But it will make a lot of farmers happy this Christmas.
