I have heaps of managed funds, as well as direct shares, LICs, LITs, unlisted funds, in all asset classes, both domestic and international,
both in Super and outside Super, far more than the vast majority of people.
What I have noticed over the years is the continual fluctuations in performance,
such that different funds outperform or underperform at different stages of the stockmarket.
There is no fund that always leads in performance every year.
You need to accept that, otherwise just stick to index ETFs, which I also have.
If I decide I no longer like a fund, I sell it. No point in going on too much about it.
Don't get emotional in investing.
