I don't understand why you are invested with them, if you think this way.
It doesn't make sense.
Wouldn't you prefer to sell and invest elsewhere?
Nothing would justify not selling, if you feel so strongly against Hamish and Magellan.
Everyone knows their performance has been horrible of late - that's plain to see. But those still invested still see the long term strategy.
You clearly do not, so why not sell. The "I am sitting on a big loss" doesn't make sense.
Those invested should be aware Magellan is a tech heavy investor - which will see greater volatility. Compounding this is heavy investment in China - which is precarious to say the least.
I can understand your frustration at their performance and fee structure, but don't understand why you would persist here.
As I have said, you would be much more at peace investing in an index fund and avoid the vagaries of an active manager and the associated fees.
