Why do you say the SPP will be 10x oversubscribed? Even Macqaurie Group has not quantified the amount they will be raising through the retail SPP.
Do you know the exact number of shareholders on the register? There might be scale backs occuring, but nothing like what you are mentioning. You mentioned that if more than 10% of shareholders take up their full $15k, then there will be a scaleback. That is not true.
The way I see it, if you look at my earlier post, I believe MQG needs capital to help buffer their capital position. They will be gladly taking up most of the capital that comes their way.
