As you said your self it is very clear what they said and therefor did not say. I still cant find anywhere where they said themselves investors would come on board or even where they say thats what investors wanted. Please provide this reference. Again it was Ord Minnet that provided the advice regarding what investors did and did not want.
Regarding your point on "If the mgmt was aware of alternate reasons as to why the investors were not willing to support, then they should have been very open about it" show me one asx announcement from any company that has something remotely negative about the progress in this regard. The only thing close is the risk/disclosure statements which are in fact in the announcements. Something along the lines of "does not guarantee future value". Problem is most people seem to skim over this part and then blame management if the SP isn't sky-rocketing or if they have lost money.
