Your still missing the point. Investors didnt promise MGT management anything. They told Ord Minnet. Ord Minnet then made then advised MGT mangagement. It doesn't say specific investors are looking at MGT and they want less shares on issue.
"Many institutions we talk to are unable to invest in a company with so many shares outstanding and such a low volatile share price as a consequence" .....where does this indicate that these companies are specifically looking at MGT. MgT may have gone out to 50 companies asking for funding and they all may have said sorry too many SOI. Doesn't mean by reducing SOI we will get 50 companies investing. People ask my company about pricing all the time. Doesn't guarantee they are buying something from me.
The announcement says Companies (non specific) prefer less shares on issue (again not specific to MGT) like Boogie said you're making up stuff up your head on how it went down. Read the announcements carefully. Call MGT they will tell you all about the Ord Minnet recommendation and their 'expert' advice. At no time were there specific investors looking at MGT and all they wanted was less SOI. People need to stop trying to make up their own storyline. Read the specific words on paper.
