i start with the larger time frame to determine the trend (above all trend is the most important thing).

1. Trend
2. RSI (stoch) to determine if momentum is going with the trend or counter
3. Bollinger Band Width Percentile indicator to determine volatility (BBWP)...basically Bollinger Band numbered 1 to 100

before a breakout occurs BBWP drops to under 10 (out of a 100). This is when everything goes quiet and boring. Usually after a couple days volatility will start to expand. When this happens the RSI will show you in which direction the breakout will occur.

The last couple MGT breakouts have moved the share price an average of 20%

i use Wyckoff for market structure, supple / demand zones

Gann for finding 50% levels, swing levels eg old tops become new bottoms and vice versa.

Fib levels looking for confluence

Candle / volume reading looking for divergences, reversal signals

Pattern analysis (Thomas Bulkowski)...although it all really boils down to trend

Elliot Wave (although I'm not very confident with it)

The TA i use is very old school / traditional and uncomplicated

There are a couple YouTubers (highly recommend) which I found useful in getting started / sharpening TA skills:

Jason and Michael Pizzino (both veteran investors) - primarily use Wyckoff / Gann

Eric Crown (previously a market maker / very successful trader)...uses a lot of indicators / statistics/ probabilities
