Bro how far Australia have gone up in the last 20 years compared to sluggish, slack economy of Australia of 80s and 90s?The answer is coz of China. Rise of china helped rising Australian commodity exports mainly. US have massive influence over Australia too though not a supporter of chinese way of influence but these things happens. The ultimate goal of all big nations is to control/caputure resources/economies. Nothing new in it really. Grown up watching Soviets, then US now China. I really dun care as long as they take my MGT up with them.
