You are 100% correct. I bought 250k last week and 250k today at 0.4 cents, a total of 500k MGTOC for only $2k. The leverage on these makes the risk reward very much worth it to take a punt despite the short time to expiry.
If on the back of a good PFS, MGT can double and go to 10c, MGTOC should be close to 5c, so my $2k investment would be worth $25k, so 12.5x.
If MGT triples to 15 cents and MGTOC close to 10c, the $2k investment should be worth around $50k, so 25x.
Hopefully we can get a good PFS before options expiry.
