All very valid thoughts re the messenger group. I'll leave it go and wait for a more senior member to kick it off so the trust is there. I think there is a place for strategic, brief, instant messaging though, not in an open forum. It certainly was not intending to diminish the quality of discussion here. But surely you all realize that those who seek to benefit from MGT but not with a long term view like us are able to read our thoughts (often about them) openly here.
