True very hard to pick the bottom and the top but you can accumulate ....when BHP dropped to $20 I advised someone to buy them while they were low...a few weeks later they dropped to $15 and complained ...buy more.
BHP may not have gone above their high but like investors in MGT who bought at 8c... sp also might not reach that high again and possibly fold.
Difference is the risk vs reward.
Personally misleading using BHPs high as an example and being in the Red for those years while possibly making a mozza on MGT.
Don't get me wrong I do like MGT but it's a gamble... the beauty of it you don't need to invest much in order to make a bundle compared to BHP and it's sp cost..key is a balanced portfolio
