I see where you are coming from but I believe if it is later than QTR 2 there will be a lack of confidence from investors. Why would they repeatedly say "on track for QTR 2", "ahead of schedule", "released in QTR 2", (just to name a few) in all their messaging, media, and interviews only to release it late (even if by only a few days).
I think a company in its relatively early stages would want to stick to their word to gain confidence from investors.
