It’s also fair to say that there are lots of “newbie” investors on the MGT share register who took a punt on MGT hoping to make some good, quick money and have no idea what the contents of the PFS even means. I’ve even seen on other forums where holders have asked what ‘PFS’ stands for. And for those that got in early, to see their profits quickly disappear is not a pleasing sight, nor is taking an immediate loss. So, what do they do? Based on the psychology of normal market behaviour, when they see a falling share price and everyone else selling, they think they better take a quick profit, or sell now and cut their losses. This behaviour is not limited to just one person, but the many who follow the crowd. Thus resulting in the big drop in share price. We saw this last time when it fell to 0.007c.

If you have done your research and have faith in the company, then buy when people are selling and hold long term. No point trying to time the market as you never know when an unexpected announcement will drop or when the share price will instantly bounce back.
