funny you mention that because it is when i did the research and checked into NEXTORE's website and found no references to working operating sorters....just a little video of a chute bouncing back and forth dropping ore on different piles which didnt look very elegent. and lots of awards for a good sensing system...not a good sorting system, that i got REALLY worried.
IT SEEMS magnetites business case is based on an unproven tech...that hasnt even been tested with their ore body..or any OREBODY! The ability to sort and improve head grade is critical and i dont know how they will do that !
they promised to have tested the tech for the pfs...but have not.
MAGNETITES plan relies on ore sorting....and it seems they have given responsibility for this to NEXTORE.
IMO this scenario potentially gives management a get out of jail free card should everything flop.
