I agree with you and the point you’re making and yes, it is a risk, however it is not always a dire situation. I held a long term stock that had sat at 0.01c for a long period of time, then at 0.35cents there was a big consolidation that saw the share price become $3.50. Then through reduced liquidity and good business conditions, this share worked its way up to $30. Yes my holding was significantly less than what I had originally bought, but the increase in value was very welcomed when I sold out. But I’m also very aware that holdings can dwindle away to nothing and become worthless.
Regarding MGT, in the early days, money was needed to keep the lights on, hence cap raises and dilution, however we must not forget, over $30 million was spent on drilling holes and exploring MGT’s tenements to get us to the point they are at today.
If MGT can somehow move forward and raise the money they need without any further dilution, it will be happy days ahead.
