Agreed to your points but just adding more, Afghanistan-Taliban is just a part of smaller picture. In a big canvas Taliban was proxy first created by US via Pakistans ISI against Soviets and now was working for China and Pak against US and indian interests in Afghanistan. So the so called war is over with US leaving with 180 degree turn in Talibans stance like sending kids, girls to schools forgiving opponents etc etc no surprise intelligence agencies works like that.
Now coming to the point in the future you will see massive chinese and russian involvment in the region, offcource for alot of infrastructural work. Chinese would use Afghan territory for an access into Central Asian plus European market. Russians would like to access hot waters via Pakistan, probably that was the reason Soviets invaded Afghanistan in 1979.
It is still early keeping political and infrastructural problems but chinese would pour money for infrastructure and exploration in the area. India currently on a sideline is a huge market and would eventually join this trade pact. No way moving forward for india and simply world cannot ignore such a huge market.
As pointed out in my previous posts,it is the starting of strategic shift of power from US,EU to China and Russia. Unfortunately decline for US. For us? Bright time ahead IMO but would take lil more time. Only thing from here is massive infrastructural demand Chinese needs to fill both domestically, regionally and internationally for their OBOR and other projects. GLTASHs
