Reading through the chatter on Hot Coppper i feel far too many have invested in MGT without a real understanding of what "GREEN STEEL" is. Soon using low grade I.O. sourced steel for your manufacturing requirements will incur massive costs for down stream manufacturers due to the lack of transferable carbon credits. I have posted before an estimate of the carbon emissions from I.O. (Hemertite) at 62% and the carbon emissions from I.O. (Magnetite) at 68%. Without pulling out the slide rule, ball park is a savings of nearly 2/3rds. Massive gains once you consider carbon credits. Refining to a higher grade at the mine site is what will become the norm as we move forward. The days of $20 a tonne DSO at 58% I.O. are rapidly coming to an end. Magnetite can be quite easily refined to a higher concentrate due to it having such high magnetic properties. Have you considered what is required to concentrate Hemertite ore??
Unfortunately MGT had been overran with what I refer to as Twitter traders who invest on hype without any real understanding of what a company does, what its strengths are or what their future trading environment will be...
Again another good example of the share market taking money from the inpatient and giving it to the patient.... obviously all in my opinion, do your own research!
