They have, although not binding (yet) 7 Letters of Intent aogned with some of the biggest names in the market. Mitsubishi, Bahrain Steel and Mitsui - although the latter pulled the plug given (historical) board infighting - which has now been sorted and discussions now ongoing (as stated in asx announcements). DON’T UNDERESTIMATE an LOI

MGT have not a single LOI signed with a single company!

HIO have already started their funding stack (which I don’t believe they’ll use). MGT have Sam Chee (as a contractor)
Wood Mackenzie and CRU (arguably 2 of the best mining consulting and pricing agencies there are in this space rate HIO as (a) the best undeveloped iron ore mine outside of the majors / replacement mines and (b) put HIO in the FIRST QUARTILE of the global cost curve. MGT costs actually sit high and this is a massive risk IMO

Now for the record - I hold both and I hope they BOTH get up. However I hold substantially more HIO and believe it’s a far superior project in the mining space. Those that know the company well, know the ONLY thing holding them up was the many years of board instability with the Chinese JV Pure Metals. That was rectified early 2021 and the share price has risen accordingly
