Yes it is, however that power bill will comprise of a cheap kw/hr price and network charges, which is not reflected in a straight kw/hr price. Typically (depending on peak demand and a multitude of other network costs) the kw/hr price will form a 1/2 to a 1/3 of total power costs. With that said how good is it that the network is prepared to show confidence that their investment will return $$ from MGT. IMO this is the most efficient way to use renewables in this style of project, it allows for efficient location of solar, wind, battery, hydro to be installed within the network in optimum locations, rather than going it alone at a huge expense. Very practical and indicates a good communication between company and the state government.
