Yes I wouldn't be counting on a dividend in August as the profit for the six months to 30Jun24 will not eliminate the tax losses at 31Dec23 - a lazy analyst might just double the profit for the six months to 31Dec23 to arrive at a dividend in August but that's not how it's going to pan out as shipments in the Jun24 half year are much lower than the previous half year - and the shipments for the current quarter have now ground to a halt and will be lucky to get to my estimate of 11 shipments - I can't see them paying an unfranked dividend considering what they have said previously. I'd say beware when Macquarie let these daily free articles publish their analysis.
