The NPV for the life of this KI was around $820m. A mining journalist said possibly $2b This NPV was forecasted back in the Beyer days when they had $400 million in the bank account. At the time forecasted IO price USD about $80. The tail end of the investment costs were estimated around $45/t. The tail end in actual terms is costing where an $820m to around $730m is material.
The life of the asset always had a sunset clause it's what Peter and his cohorts do with the capital now moving forward.
Listening to the announcement the intro opens "due to time constraints we only take calls from institutions" - I'm sure those time constraints Peter is spending his precious time making the right call with any acquisition they undertake.
more likely as a result of 2025 forecasted performance any major investment may require a mix of debt and equity to fund an acquisition. Aletenatively continue partnering using Fenix modelling.
