Prior to that day, the lowest price reached was 36.5c on 19/11/14 so technically speaking that is where the gap closes. If you have commsec put up a 3 month daily candle-stick chart and you will see it quite clearly. Gaps "tend" to get filled unless you get a break away gap. Not to say 41c won't get hit, but I dare say if it does get to 36.5c there will be some profit taking there and may pull back.
