Following on - Local contractor 'Wearside' who operate the Port shed for MGX have begun to lay staff off - I have spoken to one who is being laid off as from this Friday.
Announcement expected from MGX tomorrow (if we can believe the rumour mill) - hoping any effect on SP will not be any more catastrophic than what we have witnessed over recent months!
