I'm not a rocket scientist, actually a rock scientist, but I don't see what your hypothesis does for a big player. Daytraders are out of this a long time ago. Only those who think the stock has value remain in it and won't sell unless the bottom falls out. For every trade there is one person who thinks the stock is going down and another who thinks the stock is going up. MGX has reached a price that reflects its current value and that is why there is not any movement.
